Longcreek campground is in the golden corner of South Carolina, located 3 miles from the Chattooga River,[off hwy 76] surrounded by waterfalls, hiking trails and guided rafting groups. Our campground has a clean bathhouse, creekside tent camping and fun for all. With horseshoe pits, bocci ball court, large sandbox, and a game room, we have something for all ages. Shaded campsites and paths in a park setting with a pavilion and BBQ grills. Seasonally open April- November, everyday 8:00AM-8:00PM with someone on grounds at all times. |

The historic park rests deep in the Blue Ridge foothills, with several hiking trails, cabins and campgrounds that have welcomed families since the days the park was first built by the Civilian Conservation Corps during the Great Depression. The park’s fishing lakes offer bass and bream and the woods are full of wildlife, fur and feather alike. It also serves as the southern trailhead for the Foothills Trail, a 78 mile wilderness hike on Blue Ridge Escarpment up to Table Rock. Adjacent to Sumter National Forest, the park also serves as a jumping off point to the nearby Chattooga and Chauga rivers, hotspots for whitewater rafting and trout fishing. For those wanting to take it easy, Oconee State Park is an ideal destination. After all, its mailing address is the town of Mountain Rest. | |

High Falls County Park is nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It serves as a gateway to a variety of recreational activities. This 44 acre park, established in 1971, is located on the beautiful waters of Lake Keowee. At High Falls, visitors are not limited to activities on the lake as the park provides many facilities and programs to suit every recreational need. The park store offers a variety of convenient items and is located in the park's focal point, The Alexander/Cannon/Hill House. The house was built in 1830, and is one of the last remaining pieces of the area's history. |

South Cove Park is located on the clear waters of Lake Keowee, South Cove County Park offers a variety of day use facilities as well as lakeside camping. Fishing, boating, sailing and water skiing are readily accessible via two park boat ramps. Day use facilities include 4 lighted tennis courts, a volleyball court, 18-hole miniature golf course, horseshoe pits, playground areas, a handicapped accessible fishing pier and sand beach for sun bathing. The day use area also provides picnic tables and grills for the visiting public as well as two rental facilities for group events. Camping is provided on a first come first serve basis and is located on a peninsula overlooking Lake Keowee. Of the campsites available, 46 are waterfront. | |
