Ken talks with BJ Callahan, the Director of Westminster Music Centre.
The Westminster Music Centre is a unique facility that was designed from the ground up to provide both the artist and audience with an environment where music can be enjoyed and appreciated the way it was meant to be – up close and personal.
With its professionally designed sound system and intimate environment, the Music Centre provides the perfect place to fully experience musical performances.
Music on Main
This street party is a free event the first Friday each month April to October from 6-9pm.
Main Street in downtown Westminster is blocked off to car traffic. People are able to mill around, visit, listen to live music and dance in the street. There’s a food truck, beverages and the Music Centre doors are open for people to come in and check it out.
Music on Main is a family friendly atmosphere that’s a safe place for kids to run around. Most nights there’s a classic car show in conjunction with Music on Main so you can walk around and see neat classic automobiles.

In 2016 a group of motivated citizens formed the “Westminster Music Association,” run by a volunteer board of directors. The former Westminster Music Hall was re-organized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization named Westminster Music Centre.
The Music Centre depends on support from the community and local businesses. Consider becoming a member at one of these levels to help continue bringing high quality arts and entertainment to the area.
